The Next New Story

One of the most powerful tools for transformation which I've discovered during the past few years is that of becoming conscious *and selective* of self-defining personal narrative. LJ is a great tool for this, of course. When I find myself starting to groan about writing a post about a particular pain or frustration *yet again* without having made any meaningful progress in changing my circumstances (as in this morning's earlier post), I know it's time to change my story.

In this case it's the story of my career and vocational frustrations which is way overdue for a change. I need to completely revise my characterization of myself and my day to day challenges and opportunities.

I have nothing new to share at this time, only the resolution to change and a few images and words I'm starting to play with.
